HTA s.103(1) / HTA s.16 — Owner-name display and CVOR documents
HTA s.103(1) requires the owner name on both sides of every commercial motor vehicle, attached or painted and clearly visible. It sets no fixed letter height. HTA s.16(3)(a) requires the driver to carry the original or a copy of the CVOR certificate, or the original or a copy of the lease for a leased vehicle. Displaying a CVOR number on the vehicle exterior is optional in Ontario. GVW display is optional in Ontario.
