A compliant PAB can legally use bike lanes and multi-use paths where cyclists are permitted. However, individual municipalities can restrict e-bikes on specific trails via bylaw. Toronto, for example, restricts some trail sections. Always check local bylaw signage, especially near ravines, conservation areas, and waterfront paths.
