View official regulation text✓Plain English
Riders under 16 years of age cannot legally operate an e-bike in Ontario. Officers enforce this at roadside checks. Parents and dealers are responsible for not enabling under-age operation — selling an e-bike to a family knowing a 14-year-old will ride it creates liability.
