We Study the Regulations
So You Don't Have To.
Compliance Lettering is a vehicle identification specialist based in the Niagara Region, Ontario. We produce regulation-correct lettering for commercial trucks, boats, aircraft, drones, and heavy equipment — validated against the actual Canadian federal and provincial regulations before production.
Our Story
Compliance Lettering started with a simple observation: businesses were failing inspections because of lettering errors that were completely preventable. Wrong font sizes, incorrect formats, non-compliant materials — problems that cost operators hundreds or thousands of dollars in fines and downtime.
The problem was not that operators did not care about compliance. The problem was that the regulations are scattered across multiple agencies, written in dense legal language, and updated without notice. A trucking company in Ontario needs to know the Highway Traffic Act, O.Reg 424/97, and if they cross the border, FMCSA 49 CFR 390.21. A boat owner needs the Small Vessel Regulations. A drone pilot needs CARs Part IX. Nobody has time to read all of that.
So we did. With 7+ years of experience producing regulatory vehicle identification, we built a system that reads the regulation for you. Our design builders validate your input — format, minimum height, font, colour contrast — against the specific regulation in real-time. You cannot add a non-compliant product to your cart. That is our core promise.
