Made in Canada on outdoor-rated cast vinyl. Same-day shipping on in-stock sizes means the truck stays earning while the lettering gets sorted.

How It Works
Not sure whether your permit class calls for 4-inch or 6-inch lettering? Both MTO regulations and the City of Toronto Street Food Vehicle Permit publish minimum character-height requirements for business-name display — check your permit documentation or contact your licensing office to confirm the height that applies to your vehicle class. Once you know, select it from the listing. Application is straightforward: clean the surface, peel the liner, position using the included transfer tape, and press. Done in under an hour with no sign shop visit.
- Confirm your required height from your permit paperwork or licensing office
- Select 4" or 6" in the product options above
- Clean, peel, position, press — transfer tape included
- Orders on in-stock sizes ship the same business day
Why It Works
Ontario food truck lettering takes a beating — road salt, pressure washing, freeze-thaw cycles, and years of highway vibration. Craft-store vinyl and generic adhesive letters aren't rated for it. This lettering is cut from outdoor-grade cast vinyl, the same material used in commercial fleet graphics, manufacturer-rated for 5+ years of exterior service. A local sign shop charges a shop minimum for a job this size and books out days in advance. This ships ready to apply, Made in Canada, cut to the published spec.
- Cast vinyl rated for road salt, repeated washing, and Ontario freeze-thaw conditions
- Manufacturer-rated 5+ year exterior service life — not craft-store adhesive stock
- No sign-shop visit, no booking lead time, no minimum-order markup
- Sized to the published spec, not approximated
Order before noon on a business day and your lettering ships the same day — select your required height above and get the truck lettered to spec on your schedule.
Frequently Asked Questions
It depends on your municipality. Toronto requires business name at minimum 10 cm (4 inches) in height, licence number at 6.3 cm (2.5 inches), and plate number at 15 cm (6 inches), all on both sides in contrasting colours. Outside Toronto, most Ontario health units require "prominently displayed" without specifying a height.
