Dump Truck Door Lettering — CVOR + GVW Ontario MTO Compliant

Dump trucks are high-scrutiny vehicles for MTO inspectors at the Vineland, Fort Erie, and Port Hope scales. You need your CVOR number, company name, AND GVW rating properly displayed — or you're getting pulled off the road. This kit covers both requirements in one order.

Placement Guide

For MTO compliance on a dump truck:

  • CVOR Number + Company Name: Both cab doors, lower-middle section. Must be visible and unobstructed when doors are closed.
  • GVW Rating: Right side of vehicle, near the rear. Must be in kilograms (e.g., "GVW 14,969 kg"), not pounds.
  • Unit Number: Both sides of cab for fleet identification. Not legally required but expected by dispatchers and insurance.

💡 Pro Tip — Niagara & GTA Operators: We designed these kits to pass the Vineland and Fort Erie MTO scale inspections. If you run construction dump trucks through the Golden Horseshoe, choose 3 inch minimum — inspectors at these scales check lettering carefully.
