Product details

Track the next inspection date without mistaking a shop reminder for Ontario's official proof of inspection. This is a non-official fleet inspection due or maintenance reminder label. It supports internal scheduling only; it is not an Ontario regulator or DriveON inspection sticker, certificate, record or replacement.

Choose from the three current live options

  • Standard Vinyl / 4" × 3" - $59.99 CAD
  • Reflective Vinyl / 4" × 3" - $74.99 CAD
  • Reflective Vinyl / 6" × 4" - $84.99 CAD

These sizes are retail reminder formats, not Ontario-prescribed dimensions. Reflective Vinyl is an optional visibility choice for the reminder; it does not make the label official, required or valid as inspection proof.

What Ontario's official process requires

Ontario Regulation 174/22 defines the vehicle classes that require annual or semi-annual inspection proof. For a commercial motor vehicle and its drawn trailer or dolly, section 2 uses a combined-gross-weight test exceeding 4,500 kg and includes listed exclusions and separate rules. Confirm the exact vehicle class, use and exemptions against the current regulation.

Ontario's Highway Traffic Act section 100.4 restricts official inspection proof to the provincial process: it is issued by a registered technician after the required inspection at an accredited vehicle inspection centre, using a form or type provided or approved by the Ministry.

Check the current Ontario Highway Traffic Act, O. Reg. 174/22 and Ontario DriveON commercial-vehicle inspection guidance.

This retail reminder has no inspection authority

  • It does not reproduce or replace an official annual or semi-annual inspection sticker.
  • It does not show that a vehicle passed an inspection.
  • It does not extend an inspection period or authorize a vehicle to operate.
  • It does not replace a certificate, inspection record or any other required documentation.

If an official sticker is lost, damaged or otherwise needs attention, contact a DriveON Vehicle Inspection Centre or the Ministry for the current official process. Do not use this retail label as a substitute.

Place the reminder as an internal fleet aid

Choose a consistent internal reminder location that does not cover the official inspection sticker, VIN, licence plate information, other required markings or the driver's field of view. Keep the official sticker and records in the locations and forms required for the vehicle.

Need a broader inspection-preparation review?

Use the Ontario inspection prep report for a separate advisory checklist and gap review. That service is also not a government inspection, certificate or pass guarantee.

Order the reminder, not a credential

Select one of the three live material-size combinations above. Use the finished label only for internal fleet scheduling alongside the official DriveON inspection process and records.

  • Sold only as a non-official inspection due or maintenance reminder
  • Three current live material-size combinations from $59.99 to $84.99 CAD
  • Standard Vinyl and Reflective Vinyl material choices
  • Retail sizes are stated as product formats, not government-prescribed dimensions
  • Official-sticker and inspection-record limits are stated before ordering
  • Made in Canada

Questions buyers ask

Is this an official MTO or DriveON inspection sticker?

No. This is a non-official fleet reminder label. It is not issued by the Ministry or a DriveON Vehicle Inspection Centre and is not proof that a vehicle passed an inspection.

Can this label replace a lost or damaged official inspection sticker?

No. Do not use this retail label as a reproduction or replacement. Contact a DriveON Vehicle Inspection Centre or the Ministry for the current official process.

Does every Ontario commercial vehicle require an annual sticker?

No blanket statement is safe. Ontario Regulation 174/22 defines the vehicle classes, combined-weight test, exemptions and separate rules. Confirm the exact vehicle and use against the current regulation.

Are 4 x 3 inches and 6 x 4 inches official Ontario sticker sizes?

No. They are the live retail sizes for this reminder product. They are not presented as the dimensions of an official annual or semi-annual inspection sticker.

Does reflective vinyl make the reminder official or required?

No. Reflective Vinyl is an optional live product material for reminder visibility. It does not make the label Ministry-issued, DriveON-approved or valid as inspection proof.
