Order the marks that match your current Canadian vessel document. Select a Pleasure Craft Licence, Small Vessel Register certificate or Large Vessel Register certificate in the intake, then enter the exact number, name, port and official-number text shown for that regime. This kit reproduces markings; it does not issue, transfer or validate a licence or registration.

Choose by document, not by boat nickname

• Pleasure Craft Licence: exact PCL number for both sides of the bow, above the waterline, in contrasting block characters.
• Small Vessel Register: exact official C number for both sides of the bow. This register does not assign an official vessel name or port of registry.
• Large Vessel Register: approved vessel name and port for the exterior plus official number and applicable net tonnage for the interior, following the certificate's directions.

Current size and finish choices

Choose 4-inch Standard or 6-inch Premium characters. Four inches equals 101.6 mm, exceeding the 75 mm PCL and Small Vessel Register minimum and the 10 cm Large Vessel Register exterior-name minimum. Overall width varies with the exact text.

Current colour and finish choices are White, Black, Red, Gold, Engineer Grade Reflective and G11 Reflective (ASTM Type XI). Choose a strong contrast against the hull. Reflectivity is optional; the cited federal instructions require contrast rather than a reflective grade.

Submit the exact document marks

1. Select the licence or registration document you currently hold.
2. Enter only the exact marks shown on that document.
3. Enter the hull colour so the marking colour can be checked for contrast.
4. Use production notes for placement limits or certificate directions that affect the layout.

Decorative boat names are separate from official markings unless the name is the approved registered name shown in the applicable registration record.
